Isaiah Dawe

Isaiah is a descendant of the Butchulla and Gawara Peoples. He works at the Australian Human Rights Commission, and at Lendlease.  Isaiah has completed IPROWD at Eora TAFE, a program that provided a pathway to entering the NSW Police Force for Indigenous people. Isaiah grew up in 17 different foster homes, an experience that inspired him to develop his own not for profit organization, ID Know Yourself, a mentoring program for young Indigenous people in the OOHC system. As an AbSec Youth Ambassador, Isaiah brings his own lived experience and his passion for inspiring disadvantaged youth to the Reference Group.
