Closing the Gap alignment

The National Agreement on Closing the Gap is an agreement between Australian governments and Aboriginal organisations to reduce the inequities faced by Indigenous communities. This agreement sets out Priority Reforms which tell governments how they need to change the way they work with Aboriginal communities.

Together, we are responsible for driving real progress, being transparent in our actions, and working together to ensure we honour our commitments.

We are committed to deepening cultural understanding across all staff, strengthening relationships by recognising and valuing the rich traditions and knowledge within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

Through this collaboration, we are building a fairer and more inclusive future, shaped by the voices and wisdom of the communities we work with. By embracing Aboriginal Ways of Knowing, Being, and Doing, we aim to build a system that is respectful, inclusive, and works for everyone.
