Tomaree Head Summit Walk

The Tomaree Head Summit Walk rewards hikers with panoramic views over Port Stephens, Fingal Island, and the surrounding beaches from 161 metres above sea level. 

Fort Tomaree Walk

Fort Tomaree walk is an easy walk that runs just below Tomaree Head Summit walk and takes you to the World War II gun emplacements, used in the defence of east coast Australia during World War II.

Tomaree multi-day Coastal Walk

For those seeking a longer adventure, the 27-kilometre Tomaree Coastal Walk winds through ancient volcanic landscapes, secluded coves, and lush bushland, tracing the traditional paths of the Worimi people

The walk can be undertaken over 2 or 3 days. The track retraces ancient routes used by the Worimi People and you’ll finish at Birubi Point Aboriginal Place where you can learn the stories of this land through cultural artwork.
