Look, look here we go.
When we first met Dan, he was with his dog Grizzly living at North Head, and it was super important for Dan to try and be housed with the dog because it was such a big support for him.
When I was off at accommodation, I had to take consideration that I had a dog called Grizzly. The bond between us is just unbelievable.
I didn't want to be separated from him at all.
At DCJ, we really recognize the importance that pets provide for people — the companion, the support, the sense of purpose, the belonging.
So we work really closely with our service providers to find a home where people can keep their pets and be really comforted that they stay together.
Grizzly has been one of the best dogs I've ever had. He's my rock, he's my best friend.
Stay there, that's it, that's a good boy.
“I like to see that we’re making a positive change to the lives of those that DCJ assists, including children, the elderly, and those in need of social housing."
