Targeted Earlier Intervention Evaluation

An independent evaluation of the TEI program has been undertaken by Taylor Fry in partnership with Social Ventures Australia and Gamarada Universal Indigenous Resources.  The evaluation has been completed and a copy of both the interim and final reports are now available.

The key purpose of the evaluation was to understand the overall impact of the TEI program, as well as identify opportunities to improve the program. It comprised a full process, outcome, and economic evaluation.

The evaluation provides analysis of TEI’s positive impact on reducing children and young people’s contact with the child protection system, and the economic benefits of the program.
