The NSW Anti-slavery Commissioner encourages reporting of modern slavery. To report modern slavery:

  • In an emergency: call Triple Zero (000) If you have immediate concerns for your safety or the safety of another person.
  • 1800 FREEDOM: Call 1800 FREEDOM (1800 3733366) or antislavery@dcj.nsw.gov.au for confidential support and assistance from the NSW Anti-slavery Commissioner.

Additional Referral Pathway

The Additional Referral Pathway is a program for people who have experienced modern slavery to access support. It provides information about your rights and options. If you are eligible, the program can refer you to the Support for Trafficked People Program.

If you need advice, support or assistance relating to a possible case of modern slavery, contact:

The Australian Anti-Slavery Commissioner can also provide support services to victims and survivors of modern slavery by providing information about government and non-government resources, programs, and services.
