Public consultation has now closed on the changes to child protection and out-of-home care laws and practices affecting Aboriginal children.
In early 2022, the NSW Government consulted on the 25 recommendations in 2019 Family is Culture Review report related to child protection laws, court processes and administration related to protecting Aboriginal children.
A discussion paper (PDF, 2.8 MB) was released to guide the consultation.
