TAO artwork

The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), in partnership with the Aboriginal Legal Service (ALS), invites you to contribute your artistic vision to the NSW Aboriginal Domestic, Family, and Sexual Violence (DFSV) Plan. We are seeking powerful artwork that captures the strength and resilience of Aboriginal people with lived experience of DFSV.

About the Plan

The Transforming Aboriginal Outcomes, Family Violence Team & Aboriginal Legal Service (NSW/ACT) is leading the development of a dedicated NSW Aboriginal Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Plan to underpin the National Plan to End Violence Against Women and their Children 2022-2032 (National Plan) and the First Nation Action Plan (2023- 2027) & align to the NSW Domestic and Family Violence Plan 2022-2027 and NSW Sexual Violence Plan 2022-2027.

The Plan is intended to increase safety and wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, children, families, and communities across NSW. It will act as a framework, resource, and practice guide for the domestic, family, and sexual violence (DFSV) service system including Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), Government and the Non-Government sector.
