Refer to the DCJ unspent funds requirements for details about whether your organisation can retain unspent funds based on contract provisions, or if you meet the notified exceptions and can apply to retain and use unspent funds.
If your organisation meets the exceptions listed, you will need to apply for DCJ’s consent to retain and use the unspent funds for a specific purpose. Refer to guidance on gaining approval to use unspent DCJ funds.
Applications to retain and use unspent funds (DOCX, 439.4 KB) and any supporting documents must be uploaded in the PACS Portal as part of the applicable contract-level accountability submission. We won’t consider late applications or applications lodged via email.
If you submit an application for consent to retain unspent funds, your DCJ contract manager will contact you to discuss it.
Once a decision is made, we’ll notify you in writing.
