About Secure Jobs and Funding Certainty

The NSW Government made a 2023 commitment to deliver more funding certainty for the NSW community services sector and job security for those employed in the sector. This commitment is being delivered through initiatives developed in collaboration with the sector, guided by the Secure Jobs and Funding Certainty Roadmap, which sets out key deliverables and timeframes.

Led by the Minister for Families and Communities and Minister for Disability Inclusion, the Hon. Kate Washington, these changes aim to improve planning, reduce staff shortages, and free up resources for service delivery, supporting a more stable and efficient sector.

New Resources Now Available

To support the implementation of the Roadmap, two key resources have been released:

These resources were developed in collaboration with the sector and reflect shared priorities for more funding certainty for the NSW community services sector and job security for those employed in the sector.
