How to start a mediation

Call us to arrange a mediation on freecall 1800 990 777 (Australia only). Our experienced staff are available from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.

Talk to our staff

Our staff will:

  • Ask questions about your problem.
  • Provide appropriate information or referrals.
  • Assess if your dispute is suitable for CJC mediation.
  • Ask for your contact details and the details of the other person or people involved.
  • With your permission, contact the other people involved in the dispute and encourage them to participate in a mediation session.

Need an interpreter?

If you need an interpreter in order to speak with a mediation advisor, contact the free Translating and Interpreting Service on 13 14 50 and ask the interpreter to call us on 1800 990 777.

If you are deaf, or have a hearing impairment or speech impairment, contact us through the National Relay Service on 1800 555 677 and then ask for 1800 990 777.
