Through the lens

Real stories about finding home and hope.

Through the lens showcases examples of good practice and collaboration across the housing and homelessness sector. They share the incredible work being done across NSW, both within Communities and Justice and by our partners.

We’re sharing six stories of people who each overcame a range of challenges but are linked by one common cause – their need for a safe and secure home. Through these stories, we can see how finding a home helped each person in other areas of their lives. These include health, education, employment, safety and social outcomes.

These outcomes align with the Human Services Outcomes Framework. Look out for the outcomes at the end of each story showing what our clients have achieved.
