To design a person-centred, strengths-based profile for children with disability in care and protection.

The challenge

1. There is a need to uplift DCJ staff capability in identifying and working with people with disability.
2. To enable DCJ staff to better meet the service needs of people with disability and improve outcomes.

What will success look like?

Successful completion of e-learning module.

September 2023 - Have drafted the Person Centred Profile and undertaken consultation with the Practical Advisory Group to incorporate practitioner's perspectives.

June 2022 - Scoping and preparatory work underway.
