Carers' Investment Grant Program 2025-2027

About the program

The Carers' Investment Grant Program 2025-2027 is supported by $3.122 million to fund initiatives that develop, pilot and implement ongoing training and education programs for service providers throughout NSW. This will ensure that service providers and organisations can better identify carers and provide carers with information about how to seek appropriate support.

The grant program is aligned with the NSW Carers' Strategy 2020-2030 which aims to:

  • improve carers’ access to services and supports
  • ensure that carers are better respected and empowered
  • have improved economic opportunities and better health and wellbeing.

A key message from carers during the extensive consultation process to develop the Carers' Strategy was that information, including the identification of carers, needs to be accessible at service touchpoints throughout the carer journey and to be available in places carers visit, not necessarily carer-specific sites.

The Carers' Investment Grant Program 2025-2027 aims to address this need and provide increased opportunities for carers to be more easily identified and supported.
