All public authorities must have a Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) and provide it to the Disability Council NSW under section 12 of the Disability Inclusion Act. All government departments and local councils are public authorities; other public authorities are listed in the Disability Inclusion Regulation 2023.
The Disability Council NSW does not endorse DIAPs but it does report to the Minister for Disability Inclusion every year on their progress.
If you have a question about a DIAP, please contact the department, council or agency.
