  On the 19th July, respected Gadigal elder, Uncle Chicka Madden opened the first Reference Group meeting of the Family is Culture Independent Review with a Welcome to Country.
• Independent Review Reference Group November 2017 meeting
  On 10 November 2017, the Independent Review Reference Group met to discuss the progress of the Review.
• NSW to review cases of Aboriginal kids in care
  Every Aboriginal child taken into out-of-home care during the past year will have their case investigated under a landmark review set up by the NSW Government.
