Blacktown (Dharug) - Aboriginal Art Collection

At our Community Corrections Office in Blacktown, the art of Danny, Jamie and Trevor Eastwood is featured. The artworks throughout the building are inspired by the Blacktown region and the rich natural environment of Darug Country.

Each piece is grounded in a strong sense of place, reflecting the family’s ongoing connection to land, heritage and community.

About the Artists

Danny, Jamie and Trevor Eastwood are a family of artists based on Darug Country in Western Sydney.

Their work reflects a deep connection to Country, Culture and the stories that have been passed down through generations.

Drawing on their ancestral ties to the land, the Eastwood family primarily works in Aboriginal art, using traditional techniques and symbols to share stories of Country and cultural knowledge.

“Through our art, we share the beauty and significance of Darug Country. Our work is inspired by the landscapes, plants and animals that surround us, celebrating our connection to Country and encouraging a deeper understanding and appreciation of Culture.”
