During her time at Family Support Newcastle, Teagan a dedicated social worker specialised in child protection and multicultural community engagement, particularly in Targeted Early Intervention and Intensive Family Preservation. She has worked with diverse populations in different settings, including schools, refuges, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and correctional facilities, bringing a hands-on and passionate approach to her work. Currently, Teagan provides expert safeguarding advice, referrals, training, and investigations to various stakeholders within the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.

Teagan is deeply committed to bridging cultural gaps and empowering families, striving to ensure that every community member has access to the resources they need to thrive. Her dedication to social justice drives her innovative contributions to child and family welfare, with a focus on advocacy, empowerment, protection, and positive change.
