As NSW Community Programs Manager at Karitane, Lee Bratel provides leadership and operational management for a range of evidence-based programs that benefit communities by supporting the development of positive relationships between parents and carers and young children. Lee’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Social Work and Graduate Diploma in Family Studies. Lee began her career in the inclusive Clubhouse model working alongside people with mental health challenges, which fostered a lifetime passion for community engagement and co-creation. Lee has worked across government, philanthropic and not for profit sectors, including roles as Critical Care Team Leader at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Regional Manager in the Early Childhood Approach at Lifestart. Lee is curious about human nature, loves music and is committed to strengths-based program models and inclusive practices that improve outcomes for children, families, and community.
