Ghassan Noujaim

Ghassan is the Head of SSI Multicultural Child and Family Program. His expertise in assessing and matching children to carers reflects his understanding of, and responsiveness to the importance of actively facilitating the maintenance of connection to the culture and heritage of the children and young people. Ghassan was instrumental in developing the 'My Life and Me' cultural life story book and 'Covid-19 and Me'. Ghassan received a 2020 Zest Award for outstanding community sector leader and 2021 CAPS child protection award.  Ghassan has over 20 years' experience in the child protection and is an accredited facilitator for the Family Group Conferencing, he is also a Step-by-Step Accredited Assessor and a therapeutic life story work practitioner, in addition to being a facilitator for Building Stronger Families.
