Juliana Nkrumah speaker for the 2025 DCJ Multicultural Community Engagement Conference

Juliana Nkrumah AM Is the Manager, Gender Equality and Women's Safety at Settlement Services International (SSI).  Juliana is passionate about training and community engagement on women's human rights and gender-based violence, but also women’s empowerment.  She is a subject matter expert on female genital mutilation, modern slavery and trafficking. At SSI she leads the RISE project to support women in achieving their career goals. She has great insights and is a formidable force in challenging and encouraging us all to thrive and not take no for an answer. Juliana holds the Human Rights Medal for 2023, a wonderful acknowledgment of her work in human rights.
