If you are a child or young person aged 7-17 years taking part in the study, you will receive a postcard before each interview conducted every 18-24 months.

If you agree to be interviewed, the interviewer will ask you if you have any questions about the study before you start. You will then be asked to sign the agreement form (PDF, 69.0 KB).

The longitudinal study completed the 6th round of interviews in August 2024. The interview included some activities and some questions that take up to an hour to complete. All children and young people who participated in the Study were given a gift voucher and a Certificate of Research Participation (PDF, 419.9 KB).

From 2025, if you turn 18 while in the study you will be invited to stay in the study and complete an interview about how you are going.
