Safety of inmates

CSNSW have strong flood management plans in place for all Correctional Centres across the state and are well prepared for such situations.

Actions to keep inmates safe have included the temporary evacuation of Emu Plain Correctional Centre, Bolwara Transitional Centre and Amber Laurel Correctional Centre.

Disruption to video and in-person visits

In-person and video visits to Correctional Centres may be impacted by flooding in NSW. To confirm in-person visits contact the Correctional Centre directly or for video visit information email justconnect@justice.nsw.gov.au.
