Phase 3 funding allocation

The third and final phase of the National Partnership on Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence Responses 2021-23 allocated $100 million toward 45 projects to prevent domestic, family and sexual violence, support victim-survivors, enable the service system to be more effective and responsive and build new knowledge and evidence through pilot programs and evaluations.

The Commonwealth and NSW Governments jointly contributed to initiatives to meet Target 13 of Closing the Gap, the Sexual Violence Project Fund Grants Program to extend 12 community based domestic, family and sexual violence projects.

Other projects under this phase include primary prevention projects, a public awareness campaign on coercive control, workforce development and training, responses to problematic and harmful sexual behaviours by children and young people and family, domestic and sexual violence multicultural community grants. Funding for the implementation of novel approaches to safety pathways and programs and interventions for young people impacted by family violence was also a feature in this phase.
