Multicultural Plan Consultation

What's this about?

The Multicultural NSW Act 2000 (NSW) requires each public authority to observe the multicultural principles in conducting its affairs.  The Multicultural Plan will outline the steps that the Department of Justice will take to integrate the multicultural principles into its work and how it will engage with multicultural communities.

The plan focuses on improving outcomes in the Department of Justice in four focus areas for multicultural communities. These are:

  • Service delivery
  • Planning
  • Leadership
  • Engagement.
