The Children's Court recognises it is important to deal with cases in a timely and cost-effective way.
In the care and protection jurisdiction the Court aims to deal with 90% of cases within 9 months and 100% of cases within 12 months.
In the criminal jurisdiction the Court aims to deal with 90% of cases within 6 months and 100% of cases within 12 months.
