The DFSVAP unit consists of 6 district specialists across NSW, these specialists primarily provide support to Community Corrections staff both in custodial Parole Units and Community.
Our team deliver a 6-month training program in advanced risk management and safety practices when working with people who use violence and abuse.
This training in the first instance is available to all Community Corrections including Strategic Operations and Intensive Rehabilitation staff and where possible we will try to accommodate SAPO’s, Psychologists and Custodial Case management unit staff.
