What is the Funding Framework?

The Funding Framework outlines how community services are funded and managed. It supports up to five-year contracts, giving providers confidence to plan ahead, invest in their workforce, and deliver consistent services. 

Who is it for?

  • Community service providers funded by the NSW Government
  • NSW Government agencies involved in commissioning and procurement of community services
  • Stakeholders engaged in Secure Jobs and Funding Certainty (SJFC) initiatives
  • Members of the public and other governments interested in this work

What are the key benefits?

  • Provides a consistent, all-of-government approach to funding and managing community services
  • Enables longer-term contracts, up to five years, supporting planning and certainty
  • Streamlines processes and reduces duplication for providers and government
