Contracting

Key documents

The key documents that make up a CAFS contract are:

Agreement for Funding of Services:

  1. Standard Terms (PDF, 984.2 KB)
  2. CAFS Schedule (PDF, 989.9 KB).

Schedule attachments:

  1. Attachment 1 – Services Table 1 and Table 2 (included in the CAFS Schedule template)
  2. Attachment 2 – CAFS Program Specifications
  3. Attachment 3 - Annual Forecast Budget (XLSX, 21.1 KB).

Contracts in context

The contract sits alongside the CAFS program logic and program reporting to help us measure progress and make sure we are meeting the needs of children, young people, families and communities.

A triangle divided into 4 smaller triangles. The top triangle reads program logic. Under this are 3 triangles. In order from left to right they read, ‘contract’, ‘client outcomes’ and ‘program reporting’. The diagram shows how the contract, program logic and program reporting link to client outcomes.
The contract complements other elements of the CAFS program.

Changes to contracts

Throughout the duration of a contract there may be opportunities to make amendments or variations to the initial agreement due to changing needs and circumstances. For more information about when contract amendments and variations apply, speak to your DCJ contract manager.
