Implementation of new Workplace Technology to support wayfinding and accessibility. Including Bindimaps, hearing loops etc

The challenge

Improve wayfinding and accessibility of our workplaces to ensure they are inclusive PEEPs were held manually and not available to Workpalce teams to support evacuation protocols

Status Notes:

September 2023 - Bindimaps solution pilot is still active in 6PSQ at this time. I&A expects a go live of this capability late February to roll out at other sites based on user experience and feedback.

Other technology solutions will be explored post this timeframe to further inform wayfinding outcomes in 2024.

To support these technology upgrades, wayfinding signage and graphics have been reviewed and updated to further enhance accessibility and inclusivity across staff and client areas.

July 2022 - 6 Parramatta Square (PSQ) now incorporates new technology that will be available to all staff as part of the accessibility toolkit.

New TEAMS room technology to support video conferencing and speaker tracker in large meeting rooms. 

Bindimaps is being piloted with the intent to make this available more broadly. 

PEEPs are now available digitally to support requirements for evacuation
