Directorate: Justice Strategy & Programs

Division: Strategy Policy & Commissioning

Project summary

Refresh and extend former Justice database on inclusion information to cover all of DCJ.

Focus Area:

  • Developing positive community attitudes and behaviours.

Project objective

Up-to-date inclusion information reflective of our work and clients and has improved usability and is available to all staff at DCJ.

The challenge

Improve staff understanding of how to provide inclusive options for clients with disability within their work environment.

Why is this important?

Staff need to be aware that there are multiple ways to provide a client centric service, particularly for people with disability. Lack awareness often creates a barrier to inclusion.

What will success look like?

Staff from across DCJ are accessing the site and finding it useful.

How will you measure success?

DCJ staff are aware of ACCESSlink as a resource to assist them in providing inclusive services and programs. Staff know where to find ACCESSlink on the intranet and can find the Disability inclusion information they are seeking. The number of intranet pages accessed.
